WHEELING - A Washington County, Pa., resident is suing a casino, claiming he tripped and fell while on the premises.
Patrick E. Hadley filed a lawsuit Nov. 27 in the Circuit Court of Ohio County against Wheeling Island Gaming Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 30, 2011, Hadley sustained injury when he tripped and fell while on the defendant's premises in Wheeling. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to exercise due care, failed to maintain the premises, failed to warn, failed to inspect the premises for dangerous conditions and failed to remove dangerous conditions.
Hadley is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Jay W. Gerber Jr.
