Princeton McDonald's sued over alleged slip and fall

PRINCETON - A Mercer County woman is suing a McDonald's after she allegedly slipped and fell.

Patricia A. McClung filed a lawsuit Nov. 8 in the Circuit Court of Mercer County against McDonald's Corp. and Eugene Forbes, citing negligence.

The complaint states on April 23, 2012, McClung sustained serious injuries when she slipped and fell on a wet floor at the McDonald's in Princeton. The defendants failed to warn of hidden dangers and breached its duty to the plaintiff, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount of damages, including punitive damages. She is being represented in the case by attorney Phillip B. Ball of Ball of Smith, Lilly & Ball PLLC.
