Woman says she tripped at One Stop

RIPLEY - A couple are suing after the wife allegedly trip and fell while at a convenience store.

Bushra Wasil MD and Mohammad Khan filed a lawsuit Dec. 13 in the Jackson County Circuit Court against Osi LLC, doing business as One Stop, and One Stop Inc., citing negligence, loss of consortium and punitive damages.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 15, 2012, Dr. Wasil was shopping at a One Stop convenience store in Kenna.

She says the floor in one of the store's aisles contained broken tiles, which she tripped on and fell, injuring her foot and leg.

The plaintiffs are seeking an undisclosed amount of damages, including lost wages and punitive damages.

They are being represented in the case by attorney Robert H. Miller II and Shawn R. Romano of Romano & Associates.
