Lee Supply, employee sued following a car accident

BECKLEY -- A couple are suing after the husband was injured in a car accident.

William E. and Tamela D. McCurdy filed a lawsuit Dec. 17 in the Circuit Court of Raleigh County against Lee Supply Company Inc. and Matthew A. Vermillion-Murray, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 3, 2012, William McCurdy was operating a Ford Crown Victoria, traveling on Slab Ford Road in Beckley. The complaint states at the same time, Vermillion-Murray was driving a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup truck owned by Lee Supply Co. Inc. on Slab Ford Road when he collided with McCurdy's vehicle, causing injuries.

The McCurdys are seeking an amount of damages justified by the evidence. They are being represented in the case by attorneys Kevin B. Burgess and Christopher B. Frost.
