Auto accident results in lawsuit

KINGWOOD -- An Ohio resident is suing after being involved in a collision on State Route 7.


KINGWOOD -- An Ohio resident is suing after being involved in a collision on State Route 7.


Carolyn S. Shriver filed a lawsuit March 27 in Preston Circuit Court against Radabaugh Trucking Inc. and Harold E. Zinn.

The complaint states on March 30, 2012, Shriver was driving northbound on W.Va. 7 when Zinn attempted to make an illegal turn, causing Shriver to crash.

At the time of the accident, Zinn was operating a Radabaugh Trucking vehicle while acting in the scope of his employment with Radabaugh Trucking, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

Shriver is being represented by Patrick E. McFarlan of Patrick E. McFarlan PLLC. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Lawrance S. Miller.
