Hauling company says client owes nearly $10K

WINFIELD -- A hauling company is suing one of its clients for allegedly not paying any of its bills.


WINFIELD -- A hauling company is suing one of its clients for allegedly not paying any of its bills.

Hot Shot Express LLC filed a lawsuit March 28 in Putnam Circuit Court against Clark International Logistics LLC and Clark Truck Parts Inc., citing a breach of contract.

The lawsuit states Hot Shot provided hauling services on numerous occasions for Clark from 2012 through 2014 with Clark never paying any of its invoices.

Hot Shot is seeking damages of $9,700.39, plus pre and post-judgment interest and court costs.

It is represented by attorney Jennifer Scragg Karr. The case has been assigned to Circuit Court Judge Phillip M. Stowers.
