Raleigh Co. man says Chevy Cruze was a lemon

BECKLEY -- A Raleigh County man is suing over claims he purchased a defective new vehicle.

Jason Paxton filed a lawsuit June 16 in Raleigh Circuit Court against General Motors LLC.

According to the complaint, Paxton purchased a new 2014 Chevy Cruze for $21,200 on Sept. 2, after which point the vehicle experienced non-conformities and was unable to be fixed as according to the warranty.

Paxton is seeking damages, a refund of the purchase price and attorney's fees.

He is being represented in the case by attorney Anthony M. Salvatore of Hewitt & Salvatore PLLC in Beckley. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Robert A. Burnside.
