BECKLEY -- A Raleigh County man is suing over claims he was injured on the job due to an unsafe working condition.
Stephan Dale Goins filed a lawsuit July 31 in Raleigh Circuit Court against American Electric Equipment Inc.
According to the complaint, Goins was an employee of the defendant on Jan. 20, 2013, when he was injured after being ordered to lift panels from a truck without proper safety equipment. The defendant is accused of creating an unsafe working condition that violated state or federal safety regulations.
Goins is being represented in the case by attorney Greg A. Hewitt of Hewitt and Salvatore in Fayetteville.
