Temp company says business owes more than $7,000

Paycheck

WHEELING – An Ohio County company is suing over claims another company has failed to pay for temporary workers provided.

Personnel Temporary Services filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in Ohio Circuit Court against Lone Star Western Beef Inc. and John Bachman.

According to the complaint, Personnel Temporary Services entered into a contract with Lone Star and its owner, Bachman, wherein Personnel Temporary agreed to furnish temporary employees to Lone Star from September to November for an agreed upon price as well as finance charges associated with the collection of the customer's past due account. Personnel Temporary says its employees who performed work at Lone Star were compensated through Personnel Temporary's Ohio County office, but Lone Star has failed to pay for services rendered in the amount of $7,274.

Personnel Temporary seeks the amount owed, interest and attorney fees. It is represented by attorney Richard N. Beaver of Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser & Altmeyer in Wheeling. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Martin J. Gaughan.
