CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County woman is suing over claims she was fired for allegedly reporting unlawful activity to her supervisor.
Deborah F. Reynolds filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in Kanawha Circuit Court against City Holding Company, doing business as City National Bank of West Virginia, citing wrongful termination.
According to the complaint, Reynolds was working as branch manager at the defendant's South Charleston branch when she brought concerns to her supervisor that the bank was not in compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act's requirements by opening accounts for people without proper identification. Reynolds was fired April 4, 2014.
