Montana firm seeks payment from Wheeling company

WHEELING – A Montana firm has sued an Ohio County company for alleged breach of contract for services rendered.

Axiom Logistics Inc., of Lolo, Mont., filed a lawsuit Jan. 26 in Wheeling Circuit Court against Ohio Valley Steel Company of Wheeling, alleging nonpayment.

According to the complaint, Axiom Logistics provided shipping services to Ohio Valley Steel between March and October 2013 and has documentation showing delivery and acceptance of services. The suit alleges nonpayment, and Axiom cites unjust enrichment and breach of contract.

Axiom requests compensation for $35,725, plus interest dated to Nov. 3, 2013, and $5,358.75 in attorney fees, plus costs. Axiom is represented by attorney John Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa in Bethlehem, Pa. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Martin J. Gaughan.
