* The Burkes of Fraziers Bottom in Mason County claim Jones, from Chicago, was driving a vehicle owned by Hertz near the intersection of W.Va. 34 and Interstate 64 on Aug. 5, 2004, when he hit their vehicle. They seek joint and several compensatory damages for injuries, medical expenses, pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, lost wages and loss of consortium.
