Avoiding Web fraud topic of next 'The Law Works'

CHARLESTON -– Join "The Law Works" host Dan Ringer and his guest Peter Becker, senior attorney for Microsoft Corporation, in a disussion about the Internet and law.

"The Law Works" airs on West Virginia PBS at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 14.

"The Law Works" is a weekly show on West Virginia PBS discussing legal issues that effect daily life. Now in its seventh season, "The Law Works" has considered issues ranging from how to buy a house, to the relevance of marriage in the 21st Century, to the law of war.

Guests have included four Chief Justices of the West Virginia Supreme Court, three presidents of the American Bar Association, the Dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Attorney General of West Virginia and many trial court judges, law professors, U.S. Attorneys and practicing West Virginia attorneys.

"The Law Works" is produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting in cooperation with the West Virginia State Bar, the Mountain State Bar, The West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the West Virginia University College of Law and the West Virginia Bar Foundation.
