Morgantown man sues after being hit by car

MORGANTOWN - A Morgantown man has sued another city resident after he was hit by the man's car.

John Kevin Sisler filed a suit against Jonas Andrew Dixon and his brother L. Robert Dixon, a Marion County resident, Feb. 13 in Monongalia Circuit Court.

On Feb. 14, 2005, Sisler was cross a street in Morgantown. At that time, Jonas Dixon was driving a car owned by L. Robert Dixon. While Dixon was driving, he struck Sisler in wet and rainy conditions.

The complaint states Dixon was driving at an excessive rate of speed. Also, his ability to see clearly was impaired because of the weather, and he failed to keep a proper look out, according to the complaint.

Because of his injuries, Sisler says he has medical expenses and will continue to incur expenses in the future.

Sisler, represented by William C. Brewer, seeks compensation for his injuries and damages.
