Dorris E. Hatfield v. Sears, Roebuck and Co.
PA-R. Stephen Hatfield; J-J.L. Cummings
* Hatfield visited Sears in April 2005 and tripped on a service mat that was placed in front of a door. Hatfield alleges Sears neglected the safety of its customers by having floor tile with a non-slip surface. Furthermore, Hatfield claims Sears owed a duty to the public to ensure the floor mat was in constant contact with the floor without any raised edges.
