MARTINSBURG -– Martin & Seibert L.C. is pleased to announce that its Collections Practice Group has been ranked seventh nationally in a recent Industry Rankings Report compiled by Collections & Credit Risk (CCR).

The report, released annually, lists the "Top 10" collections-related companies in three categories: collections agencies, debt buyers and law firms.

Martin & Seibert L.C. makes its first appearance on the ratings list in 2007, appearing alongside some of the largest firms in the country. The compilation of the rankings comes from the same, precise methodology employed by CCR each year. Hundreds of collections agencies, debt buyers and law firms are contacted individually by the magazine, and rankings are made as a result of confirmed data supplied by the individual companies.

The Collections Practice Group at Martin & Seibert L.C. is delighted to be included in the list for the first-time ever. The firm's managing shareholder, Walter M. Jones, notes the importance of growth and change in a thriving Collections Practice.

"We are elated that our firm has again received national recognition of our Collections/Recovery Practice Group." Jones said. "While we continue to represent many national companies, we have refocused our attention upon the needs of regional and local businesses. Ronald Rossi has recently assumed the management of the Group and has suggested that neither he nor the members of the Group will be content with being number 7 in the county."

Founded in 1908, Martin & Seibert is one of the oldest law firms in West Virginia. The firm's 24 attorneys, five of whom are shareholders, practice in a wide variety of areas, including litigation, real estate, collections, and employment law. Learn more at www.martinandseibert.com.
