Non-custodial parents, grandparents, public officials and all citizens concerned with protecting and preserving parenting and family relationships are encouraged to attend the upcoming regional Men & Women Against Discrimination meetings at the following locations:
* 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library, 3100 Emerson Ave.
* 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at Ohio County Public Library, 52 16th St., Wheeling
Discussion will center around public education and awareness efforts regarding numerous long-term studies that show children do better in all 20 areas of measurement (socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically) when they have both parents equally involved in their lives.
Additional regional meetings and rallies will continue throughout the state over the coming weeks.
