Sharon Frum v Lowe's Companies, Inc., and Crystal Sypolt, Store Manager

* While a customer of Lowe's at the Mall Road in Morgantown, Sharon Frum sat down on a porch canopy swing that was on display in the store. As she sat down, she was thrown out of the swing, that unknown to her, was broken. Frum alleges that Lowe's and Crystal Sypolt, store manager, should have been aware of the danger of such broken display items. Frum is seeking compensatory damages, past, present and future medical expenses, lost wages, general damages, pain and suffering, pre and post judgment interest costs and attorney fees.

Robert Hinerman v. Leonard Eugene Craver, Robert Bennett and Brenda Bennett
PA-Robert D. Berryman and David C. Hook; J-Clawges
* As owner of a 1955 Chevrolet Belair convertible, Robert Hinerman hired Robert Bennett to perform certain restoration work on the vehicle. After the work was completed, Bennett was to either return the vehicle to Hinerman or sell it on his behalf. Bennett requested the original title in order to check certain data on the title. While the original title was in Bennett's possession, he transferred ownership to his wife, Brenda by forging the title. She then transferred the vehicle to Eugene Craver. Craver is in wrongful possession of the car and refuses to comply with requests for its return. Hinerman is seeking $65,000 for the car's value; damages in excess of $10,000 for loss of the use of the vehicle, interest and costs of the action.
