* Carroll entered a contract with Comstock to lease personal property storage. She claims that Comstock failed to keep property safe, resulting in a breech of contract. Her loss of property exceeds $50,000.

Caterpillar Finance Services v. Hostler Enterprises Inc. and Timothy Hostler, guarantor

* Caterpillar entered into a sales contract with Hostler on July 21, 2005. On May 1, 2007, the contract was terminated and Caterpillar was seeking the remaining unpaid balance. As of Aug. 31, 2007, Hostler owes $26,991.63, plus interest.

* GMAC has filed a reformation of legal description in deed of trust. There is a deed of trust on the property owned by Keener, but it does not contain complete legal description of property. The State Tax Department has an interest in the property because of recorded taxes. GMAC is seeking reformation of the deed of trust, equitable lien, constructive trust, unjust enrichment and quiet title. GMAC is seeking, among other things, to correct and complete the legal description of the property as stated in the deed of trust.

* Ptolemy Tompkins, son of Peter, claims that his fatherás last will and testament is invalid. The last official will was filed on Dec. 23, 1982, in Jefferson County. The will that is in question was written on Jan. 26, 2006, in Rome, Italy. Ptolemy Tompkins claims his father lacked testamentary capacity to write the will and Forenza, his fatherás wife, had undue influence over him. He is also claiming the will is not wholly the handwriting of his father.
