Denver, Colo. - Jackson Kelly PLLC welcomes Dana M. Bartels as an Associate in the firm's Denver office, where she practices in the Environmental and Health and Safety Group.
Bartel's received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, Bartels also worked as a project engineer for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska, where she was a recipient of numerous scholarships.
While an undergraduate, Bartels acquired in-depth experience in her field, holding a myriad of engineering student internships. Upon graduating, she was employed with the Army Corps of Engineers, where she gained valuable experience working in government and general construction contracts, as well as obtaining a security clearance and honing her negotiation skills.
Additionally, during her tenure with the Corps of Engineers, Bartels was awarded the Omaha District Commander's Coin of Excellence for her work on environmental regulations.
Bartels has been admitted to the Colorado Bar. She is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
