* All of the defendants listed were collecting a debt from Davis who claims in October 2007 he was represented by an attorney. Davis claims he continued to receive collection calls after providing the companies his attorney's information. He is seeking from each company $100 to $1,000 in statutory damages for each violation, actual damages of $10,000 for each incident, cancellation of the debt as provided for in West Virginia Code 46A-5-105, attorney fees pursuant to West Virginia Code 46A-5-104 as determined by the court, an injunction, enjoining, prohibiting and restraining the defendants from contacting Davis, engaging in any collection activities in Jefferson County and reporting any negative credit report information during the pendency of the litigation.
