HUNTINGTON -- Judy Hale, president of the 7,000-member West Virginia Chapter of the American Federation of Teachers announced that they have endorsed Huntington attorney Menis Ketchum for the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
"Menis Ketchum not only has a background in the court room but in education as well," Hale said in making the endorsement. "His years of service on the Marshall University Board of Directors give him a unique perspective on the educational challenges facing our state."
"I'm proud to have the endorsement of the WV-AFT," Ketchum said. "The dedicated teachers and education professionals represented by the AFT are on the front lines every day working to give our kids the best possible education. I'm grateful for all they do for our kids and I'm grateful for their support in this election."
"Menis Ketchum is not just a skilled lawyer," Hale said. "He's a community leader that will help restore honor and integrity to the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals."
