* Young claims he attended a 60th anniversary party on June 10, 2006, at the Martinsburg Holiday Inn, where many guests, including Young, became violently ill with symptoms commonly associated with a food borne illness within 24 to 48 hours of eating at the defendants' restaurant. Young required two hospitalizations, medication and medical care as a result of the illness, and his related expenses exceed $50,000. He claims the defendants were negligent, and he is seeking an amount of relief to be determined at trial.
