PERSONNEL FILE: Four Martin & Seibert lawyers recognized as 'Super Lawyers'

MARTINSBURG -- Walter M. Jones III, Clarence E. Martin III, Susan R. Snowden and E. Kay Fuller have been recognized as "Super Lawyers" in West Virginia in their respective fields.

Jones, the firm's managing shareholder, was recognized in the areas of Class Action Defense, Insurance Defense and General Civil Litigation.

Jones has managed a number of national class actions and also specializes in electronic discovery and risk management issues providing technical counsel to major insurers on the defense of such claims.

Martin's expertise was recognized in the area of Catastrophic Injury Defense, Toxic Tort Defense and Governmental Relations.

Martin litigates catastrophic injury, toxic tort and asbestos defense and has tried several railroad (FELA) matters. Calling upon his experience in the West Virginia House of Delegates, he also lobbies on various issues including insurance, litigation and civil justice reform

Snowden was chosen as a "Super Lawyer" in the fields of Employment Law, Class Action Defense and Insurance Coverage Defense.

Her experience includes litigation of products liability, contract disputes, and employment related claims. She also counsels clients in the areas of arson, fire loss investigation, construction insurance law and litigation involving the administration of estates and appointment of guardians and conservators

Fuller's distinction was made in the areas of Extra-contractual Insurance Defense Litigation, Appellate Law and Civil Litigation Defense.

She continues to litigate cases of first impression in the insurance industry and provides counsel to insurers on a regional and national level. She has successfully tried a number of bad faith cases in West Virginia and also provides coverage defense. She also actively litigates administrative matters and chairs the firm's litigation department.
