Randy E. and Madonna Stout, co-administrators of the Estate of Hayden John Stout v. James M. Holehouse, M.D., and Patrick C. Bonasso, Womancare Inc.
PA-Jacques R. Williams; J-Clawges
* While in her 34th week of pregnancy, Madonna Stout went to Fairmont General Hospital with abdominal pain. A fetal monitor showed the baby suffered from tachycardia. Stout claims while she was in the hospital, nothing was done to identify the cause of the tachycardia or her abdominal pain. Stout was released from the hospital and told to rest, drink plenty of fluids and attend her next scheduled appointments with Ruby Memorial and Dr. Holehouse which were May 29 and May 30, 2007, respectively. Before she could attend either appointment she went to Ruby Memorial complaining of no fetal movement since the previous afternoon. Determining the child had died, the baby was delivered stillborn on May 30, 2007. The Stouts are seeking judgment against Holehouse and Womancare, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and attorney fees.
