MORGANTOWN -- The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics is accepting nominations for the 2008 West Virginia Business Hall of Fame.
The deadline is Sept. 26, but the college will continue to accept nominations throughout the year and keep them on file for three years.
This year's induction ceremony will be Nov. 12 at the Waterfront Place Hotel.
The Hall of Fame recognizes business leaders who have established a record of distinction in their field. Business leaders are eligible who have ties to West Virginia and whose business acumen, strength of leadership and contributions to their communities have resulted in success.
The College of Business and Economics established the West Virginia Hall of Fame in 2001. Last year's inductees were Phyllis H. Arnold, Branch Banking & Trust; Charles H. James III, C.H. James and Co.; Douglas J. Leech, Centra Bank Inc.; Robert L. Shell Jr., Guyan International; and Gary G. White, International Resource Partners.
