* Mrs. Durstein observed what she believed to inappropriate conduct between Cook and another female co-worker at Beverly Hills Middle School. She reported the conduct to her superiors and claims that Cook then verbally and physically threatened and bullied her. Cook was eventually tried and convicted of the crime and served jail time. Durstein was subsequently transferred from Beverly Hills Middle School and suing for sexual harassment, false imprisonment and negligence. She is seeking compensatory damages.
