Hoblitzell
CHARLESTON – Shuman, McCuskey & Slicer is pleased to announce that John D. Hoblitzell III has become a member of the firm.
Hoblitzell joined the firm in August 2003. He graduated with high honors from Trinity College with a B.A. in History and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated Order of the Coif from West Virginia University College of Law.
He practices in the fields of land use, energy production and water rights as well as commercial accidents and civil rights.
He was admitted to the Bar in the fall of 2003. His practice is concentrated in general insurance defense, dealing primarily with auto negligence cases and deliberate intent cases.
His bio says he enjoys the outdoors, especially skiing and golfing. He says he enjoys cycling and fly fishing, though he rarely catches a fish.
