Free Legal Aid workship set for State Law Library

CHARLESTON -– A free workshop on "The Services of Legal Aid of West Virginia" will be presented at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in the State Law Library.

The event is sponsored by the State Law Library and Adrienne Worthy, the executive director of Legal Aid of West Virginia.

The session will focus on the services and programs offered by Legal Aid, including assistance with civil legal problems, such as divorces, evictions and welfare benefit difficulties, as well as advocacy for nursing home residents and those with behavioral health challenges.

The State Law Library is located in Building 1, Room E-404 of the State Capitol. Metered parking is available near the parking garage and is free after 5 p.m.
