* On Oct. 9, 2007, Reed was working on suspended scaffolding while working for Keystone Waterproofing at the Sidney Christie Federal Building in Huntington when the scaffolding failed, according to the suit, causing Reed to fall and sustain injuries. Allegheny Design Services provided an analysis of the effects of the parapet clamp system Keystone Waterproofing was using and allegedly negligently analyzed the system, according to the suit. Reed claims Hager Construction failed to maintain the work site in a reasonably safe condition. Reed is suing for an amount to compensate him for his injuries, damages and expenses.

* On Sept. 10, 2007, Janet and Wayne Vanclief's son, Jesse Vanclief, who was covered under their insurance policy, was riding a bicycle on the intersection of 4th Avenue and 6th Street in Huntington when Spears was driving a vehicle registered to Debra and Mark Pelfrey. According to the suit, Spears collided with Jesse Vanclief, causing injury. State Farm is suing for payment of medical expenses that were $10,000 and for bodily injury payments of $130,000.
