* Whittington was employed as a telecommunications representative by InfoCision and on Feb. 14, 2008, attempted to walk up the concrete ramp leading to the employee entrance when she stepped on ice and fell, injuring her right hip and upper leg, according to the suit. Whittington claims she felt a burning sensation in her leg and hip, waited approximately one hour for it to subside, then reported the fall to her supervisor, who had to fill out a form to report the accident. She then went to the emergency room. She is seeking compensatory damages.

Francis Allen Jackson vs. City of Huntington

* Jackson was certified as a Wastewater Treatment Works-Operator in Training on Jan. 7, 2009. He claims he was required to gain one year of experience to become a Class I Operator. On July 7, 2009, he was terminated from his employment with the City of Huntington, and claims the defendant indicated that he failed to obtain his Class I Operator license. Jackson claims he was required to obtain this license by Jan. 7, 2010, and the City of Huntington breached its employment contract by terminating his employment. He is seeking punitive damages in excess of $75,000 and compensatory damages.

* Bailey has a Visa account with the defendant. He claims the defendant caused his telephone to ring repeatedly and/or continuously and/or at unusual times more than 275 times. He also claims the defendant called more than 75 times after he explained he was represented by an attorney. He is seeking injunctive relief to prohibit the bank from further contact, actual damages, punitive damages and to make the finance loan void.
