HUNTINGTON -- A woman is suing Complete Petmart after she was injured in its Barboursville location.

On Jan. 17, 2009, Judy Childs was shopping in the store when she claims she tripped over a wire mesh metal bin that had been placed in the aisle, according to a complaint filed Jan. 28 in Cabell Circuit Court.

Childs claims the defendant had a duty of care and breached its duty by placing the wire mesh metal bin in the aisle. She claims Complete Petmart is liable for her injury.

Childs is seeking compensatory damages. She is being represented by Paul E. Biser.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
