SBA Charleston branch to host event explaining business loans

CHARLESTON -– Christy Scott, a commercial lending officer from Sun Trust Bank, will be the featured speaker at a free business clinic "Business Loans –- No Hype, Just the Facts" on Thursday, May 20.

The hourlong clinic, hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration and Charleston SCORE, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the 4th Floor Conference Area at 405 Capitol Street in Charleston.

"There is a great deal of misinformation on business loans out there," Emma Wilson, branch manager at the SBA's Charleston office, said. "This clinic will give you the facts on what lenders look for in a business loan."
