Monroe Co. couple sues CAMC Health System, employee for injuries

CHARLESTON -- A Monroe County couple is suing CAMC Health System and one of its employees because of a vehicle accident.

On Aug. 4, 2009, Phillip R. Frasher was operating a vehicle on Lee Street when Thomas R. Scott, who was employed by CAMC Health System, struck Frasher's vehicle, causing injury, according to a complaint filed April 28 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

As a result of Scott's negligence and carelessness, Frasher suffered bodily injury and was forced to incur medical expenses, according to the suit, and Frasher's wife, Rita G. Frasher, was deprived the service, society and consortium of her husband.

The Frashers are seeking compensatory damages. They are being represented by Joseph K. Reeder.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Charles King.
