Nelson

CHARLESTON -- The managing partner of the Huddleston Bolen's Charleston office, Kevin Nelson, has launched a blog called Keeping Score that will provide insights based on his experiences as a soccer coach and as an employment lawyer.

In the blog, Nelson will offer thoughts and observations into issues that affect coaches and managers, such as leadership, management, diversity and team building.

Keeping Score is available online at www.huddlestonbolen.com/blog or www.huddlestonbolen1.blogspot.com.

"I began this blog during the World Cup to lend some observations regarding how coaches and business people can build and lead a successful team – whether it's athletes or employees," Nelson said.

Nelson has 25 years of experience in the area of employment law, along with experience in insurance, medical malpractice and energy law. In addition, as coach of Charleston Catholic High School, Nelson was honored as the 2008 Mideast Sectional Coach of the Year for girls' soccer by the NFHS Coaches Association, the 2006 and 2009 West Virginia Girls' Class AA-A Region III Coach of the Year and the 2008 Kanawha Valley Girls' Coach of the Year.
