CHARLESTON -- A couple is suing Casto Technical Services after a woman suffered injury while at work.
On Nov. 24, 2008, Debra Morgan was at work when a ceiling tile fell and struck her in the head, according to a complaint filed May 27 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
The defendant was remodeling/repairing Morgan's place of employment, according to the suit, and failed to perform its construction in a non-negligent manner.
Morgan claims the defendant caused her to incur medical expenses exceeding $10,681.42.
Morgan and her husband, Ernie Morgan, are seeking compensatory damages. They are being represented by Marvin W. Masters and Charles M. Love IV.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie Webster.
