Ohio man names 95 defendants in asbestos suit

CHARLESTON -- An Ohio man is suing 95 companies he claims are responsible for his malignant mesothelioma.

On Aug. 17, Frank S. Reisberger of Shadyside, Ohio, was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, according to a complaint filed Aug. 30 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Reisberger claims he smoked cigarettes from 1941 until 1954 but has since quit.

Reisberger is seeking a jury trial to resolve all issues involved in the suit. He is being represented by Victoria L. Antion, John D. Hurst, Scott A. McGee and C. Taylor Campbell.

The case has been assigned to a visiting judge.
