CHARLESTON –- The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission has received seven applications for the vacancy in the Third Judicial Circuit, which services Ritchie, Doddridge and Pleasants counties.
The deadline for submission of applications was Oct. 25, but letters of recommendation will continue to be accepted until Nov. 15.
The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission will conduct interviews of candidates on Nov. 16 at the state Capitol in Charleston. Each candidate selected for an interview will be notified in writing.
Letters of recommendation are to be submitted to: Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission, c/o Jonathan Deem, General Counsel, Office of the Governor, 1900 Kanawha Blvd East, Charleston, W.Va. 25305.
The applicants include Carl Bryant, Robert L. Greer, Ira Haught, Cynthia Loomis, Rocco Mazzei, Timothy Sweeney and Darren Tallman.
