* The Noeskes were indebted to Chase Bank in the amount of $687.02 and retained an attorney on May 11. They claim they received a phone call on May 18 from the defendant and informed them of the attorney and provided them with a phone number and name. Despite this, the defendant called the Noeskes "at least 16 times," according to the suit. The Noeskes claim the defendant's phone calls were made with the intent to annoy, abuse, oppress or threaten them. They are seeking damages in the amount of $74,000, for violation of West Virginia code.

* The plaintiffs were indebted to Premier Bankcard, Inc., in the amount of $372.35 and retained an attorney on May 11. They claim on May 14, they received a phone call from the defendant to collect on the account and informed Accounts Receivable Management that they were being represented by an attorney and provided the phone number and name of the attorney. Despite this, the defendant called the Noeskes "at least 23 times," according to the suit. The Noeskes claim the defendant's phone calls were made with the intent to annoy, abuse, oppress or threaten them. They are seeking damages in the amount of $74,000, for violation of West Virginia code.

* Willie Oliver Reed was diagnosed with asbestosis and died Nov. 12, 2009. The plaintiffs claim the 82 defendants are responsible for Willie Oliver Reed's lung disease and death. They are seeking a jury trial to resolve all issues involved.

* On Feb. 25, 2009, White was required and instructed by his employer, Cast & Baker, to perform road grading work at the Yeager Airport runway and taxi extension project job site. He claims while traveling up a hill, the grader's engine stalled, causing it to roll backward. The grader did not have operable brakes and without engine power, there was no way to stop the grader, according to the suit. White claims he "was forced to leap from the runaway grader before it either rolled off the side of the hill or struck the parked dump truck." White claims he was injured while escaping the runaway grader. He is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* On Dec. 3, 2008, Crouser was a customer at the South Charleston Wal-mart when she tripped and fell in the produce section of the store. She claims the defendant negligently maintained its sprinkler system, which caused water to be deposited on the floor in front of the produce. She claims Wal-mart also negligently placed and maintained mats or rugs in front of the produce displays. Crouser is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
