CHARLESTON -- A former employee is suing WVA Manufacturing after he claims it failed to pay his final wages in a timely manner.

Ray R. Green was employed by WVA Manufacturing until Aug. 13, according to a complaint filed Nov. 15 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Green claims he did not receive his final wages until Aug. 20, which is violation of the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Green is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. He is being represented by Todd S. Bailess.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie Webster.
