CHARLESTON -- A former employee is suing G4S Secure Solutions after she claims it subjected her and possibly other employees to workers' compensation discrimination.
Marvin Jones, a manager with G4S Secure Solutions who works out if its St. Albans location, was also named as a defendant in the suit.
Angela Conlin was employed by the defendants as a security guard from approximately 2005 until 2010, according to a complaint filed March 7 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Conlin claims the defendants subjected her and possibly other co-workers to workers' compensation discrimination "unreasonably interfering with their work performance and which created an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment."
The defendants wrongfully terminated Conlin's employment because she had filed a workers' compensation claim, according to the suit.
Conlin is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. She is being represented by John Einreinhofer.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis H. Bloom.
