James and Virginia Ramsey vs. Tobby Small, Willie McNeal, Jack Kelley and Amerigas Propane

* As a result of an minor traffic accident on snow covered roads, Tobby Small was stopped in the center median of I-79. James Ramsey approached the area of I-79 where Small was stopped, and as he did so, Small moved from beside his vehicle, onto the roadway. Ramsey slammed on his brakes making him swerve on the snow covered roads. At the same time, Willey McNeal was hauling a trailer owned by AmeriGas. He was unable to observe Ramsey's vehicle, and couldn't slow his tractor trailer to avoid hitting Ramsey. Ramsey sustained a severe head laceration, neck and shoulder injuries; injuries to his chest, arm, both hips and a left leg fracture. Ramsey seeks compensatory and general damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and attorney fees, lost wages, medical expenses and other punitive damages that may be deemed proper.
