PERSONNEL FILE: Stout named to Super Lawyers Top 10

HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen has announced that Bruce Stout, who heads the firm's Estate Planning Practice was named one of West Virginia's "Top Ten" lawyers by Super Lawyers magazine.

In making the announcement, Tom Gilpin, chair of the firm's Management Committee said, "We are very proud of the work Bruce Stout does on behalf of his clients. He is a credit to the firm and his profession."

This announcement comes on the heels of a recent announcement that over 30 percent of the firm's lawyers were recognized by the publication as leaders in their field in 2011.

Stout's work in estate planning has also been recognized in several other publications: in 2010, he was named "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers in the Charleston/Huntington area, he has been recognized in the Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers, and is named annually in the publications "Best Lawyers" and "Super Lawyers."

In 2009, Stout published his first book on estate planning, titled, "Estate Planning in West Virginia: Real Answers to Real Questions."
