WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle announced today that Casey C. Hyman has joined its Winston-Salem, N.C. office as an associate in the litigation department.
She will assist in general litigation matters, and her work will include research, pleadings, discovery and trial preparation. Hyman received her B.A., with Distinction, from University of North Carolina and her J.D., with Honors, from University of North Carolina School of Law.
While attending UNC Law, Hyman was awarded a Certificate of Merit for Earning Highest Grade in Civil Procedure, and a Certificate of Merit for Earning Highest Grade in Research, Reading, Writing, and Advocacy. She was a staff member of North Carolina Law Review and the articles and notes editor of First Amendment Law Review.
