* On Oct. 28, 2009, Cobb presented to Kardos' dental office with a set of broken and defective dentures and requested a new set, pursuant to a verbal five-year warranty. Cobb claims Kardos advised him he would not replace the dentures and that they were not broken or defective. Cobb claims he told Kardos he intended to file a suit against him for failing to honor the warranty. Kardos sent Cobb a letter alleging that Cobb had engaged in hostile actions and behavior in the dental office and that he had already filed an incident report with Jordan, the Chief of Police at the Nitro Police Department, according to the suit. Cobb claims the defendants defamed him and were negligent. Cobb is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
