CHARLESTON -– Supreme Court Justice Robin Jean Davis will deliver the oath of office at a swearing-in ceremony for the Sixty-Second Class of State Police Cadets at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the West Virginia State Police Academy, 143 Academy Drive, Institute.
The 57 cadets reporting for duty that day will graduate on May 4, 2012.
They will be the first to go through an updated, 25-week curriculum that will include a minimum of 1,300 hours of instruction.
There currently are 647 active State Police Troopers. The agency has funding for 707 positions.
