Ky. couple sues Mercedes for defective vehicle

CHARLESTON -- A Belfry, Ky., couple is suing Mercedes-Benz USA, Inc., after they claim a vehicle they purchased was defective.

CHARLESTON -- A Belfry, Ky., couple is suing Mercedes-Benz USA, Inc., after they claim a vehicle they purchased was defective.

On Feb. 10, 2010, Jerri Leedy and Rhonda Leedy purchased a 2010 Mercedes C300, according to a complaint filed Dec. 6 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

The Leedys claim they learned of various defective conditions with the vehicle.

The defendant failed to fix the defective conditions, according to the suit.

The Leedys are seeking compensatory damages. They are being represented by C. Christopher Younger.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr.
