CHARLESTON -- Jackson Kelly recently was recognized by Law360 as one of the top ten firms for female partners.
The information was derived from a survey wherein Jackson Kelly and more than 200 other firms from across the United State shared their partner statistics with Law360. The news site, which boasts to be the only news source that covers the entire spectrum of legal practice areas every single business day, ranked firms with more than 100 lawyers by percentage of female partners.
Jackson Kelly ranked number two on the list with 33 percent of partners being female.
This recognition follows the "Gold Standard Certification" award that the firm received in mid-2011 by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF), a designation for law firms that have integrated women in top leadership positions.
