* The plaintiff is petitioning the court to set aside a foreclosure sale Slotnick, a Charleston attorney, oversaw on Feb. 22 when he refused to accept a cashier's check for $105,100 from Sayre, who was the high bidder on property belonging to Charles R. and Alma Garrett. The next day, he executed a special warranty deed to Parker, an Elkview resident, who purportedly tendered $105,000 in cash for the property. Aside from a court order setting aside the special warranty deed, Sayre is asking the property be conveyed to him.
