CHARLESTON -- A former employee is suing SGS North America, Inc. after he claims it violated the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.
Danny R. Roush was employed by the defendant from May 23, 2006 until June 27, 2011, according to a complaint filed April 23 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Roush claims the defendant failed to pay his final employment wages within 73 hours of terminating his employment.
SGS North America's actions violated the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act, according to the suit.
Roush is seeking compensatory and liquidated damages. He is being represented by J. Michael Ranson, Cynthia M. Ranson, George B. Morrone III and G. Patrick Jacobs.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr.
